In the first session we will begin by tracing a drawing onto watercolor paper and and then work on the basic techniques of watercolor. The first piece will be 5" x 7".
Over the course of the next several weeks you can choose your own subject or continue to work from a traced drawing. The techniques that we will be learning how to do are: a graded wash, creating a texture, glazing building and adding layers of paint. We will continue to work on this piece for several weeks. We will also take a session to work on developing an individual holiday card that can be photographed and printed in multiples.
