Project Description:
Learn to bind books using coptic stitch, hand tear pages for the signatures (sections of paper), and make individual collage covers for both the front and the back. Skill Level: Beginner/Novice Age: 10+ Availability: Weekdays 9:00 am-3:00 pm, Sundays 9:00 am-6:00 pm, Wed., Thurs., Friday evenings 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. Will travel within 10 miles of the perimeter. Instructor will provide materials. $20.00 per person. Materials include book board, drawing paper, binding thread, and various collage papers. If students have experience with collage, they are welcome to bring their own supplies (favorite papers).
