Project: Bird House & Hummingbird Feeder
Learn about the area's birds while building a wooden birdhouse that will attract chickadees, nuthatches, wrens, bluebirds, and others. David, who is very knowledgeable about the area's bird life, will discuss bird conservation, providing food and shelter for the birds, and understanding loss of habitat in the area as your bird house takes shape.
In addition, you will make a unique, attractive hummingbird feeder that you can hang in your yard near a window. This creative project will bring nature to your back yard, continuous joy, and bird watching long after the project is done.
