Each child decides what kind of puppet to make, and selects 2 pieces of fabric in their color choice. They trace the puppet pattern onto the cloth. They'll learn how to cut out a pattern, pin the cloth pieces together, sew all around the puppet's edges using the overcast stitch, leaving an opening at the bottom. They'll finnish up by cutting out clothing, facial features, and other adornments to attach to their puppet.
