Students K- 3rd grade will explore different materials, colors and the study of various painting techniques and styles, students will develop their own sense of expression and artistic sensibility.
They will have fun learning how to make a mosaic picture or trivet working first with paper and then with tiles.
Kindergarteners – 3rd graders will have fun learning a variety of art skills. They will learn the art of paper making and paper marbling. They will apply the paper marbling technique to wood to make picture frames. They will also be introduced to Kumihimo, the Japanese art of braiding, and Shibori, a Japanese method of cloth dying!
